Terms of Service
Effective Date: 01/09/2026
Welcome to Spinit. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Spinit platform, including joining live events, requesting and boosting songs, tipping DJs, reacting, and chatting. By using Spinit, you agree to these Terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Spinit, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction) to use Spinit. If you make payments, you must be of legal age to enter into a binding contract and authorized to use the payment method you provide.
3. Accounts
- You are responsible for the information you provide and for activity under your account.
- Keep your login credentials secure; notify us of any unauthorized use.
- Accounts are assigned roles (Customer or DJ) that determine the features available to you.
4. Using the Platform
As a guest at a live event, you may:
- Join an event by scanning its QR code or entering the event code.
- Request and boost songs, tip the DJ, send reactions, and post comments.
- Participate respectfully and in line with the conduct rules below.
5. Song Requests, Boosts & Tips
- Paid song requests, boosts, and tips are processed securely through our payment provider, Stripe. Amounts are charged in the currency shown at checkout.
- A song request is a request only. The DJ has full discretion over what is played and in what order, and may decline or skip any request.
- Free requests (including follower rewards) are subject to the DJ's event settings and availability.
6. Payments & Refunds
Payments support the DJ and the event. Because requests and tips are fulfilled at the DJ's discretion, all payments are generally non-refundable, including when a requested song is not played. Refunds, where offered, are at the discretion of the DJ or Spinit and may be subject to applicable law.
7. User Conduct
You agree not to:
- Post abusive, harassing, hateful, or unlawful content in chat or elsewhere.

10. Third-Party Services
